Ray’s Truck Service, Incorporated was established in 1980 by Ray & Georgette Prejean. They had a vision to build a family business in their community. George started the company with a single wrecker. After a few years he was able to add a shop for repairs. He hired a service manager for the garage and added to his truck fleet every year. In 2001, with a fleet of 12 trucks, a 2-bay garage with a 75-foot truck bay, and eight employees, Ray passed away. His wife, Georgette, continued to run the business until May 2009, when Shawn and Danielle Gaudette purchased Ray’s.

Shawn & Danielle’s vision when purchasing Ray’s was to continue Ray’s growth and success, and to ensure that the employees and their families would have stability for the future. Shawn and Danielle have added several trucks and trailers along with employees to meet our customer's needs.

In October 2011, Shawn and Danielle purchased Davis Maintenance & Rigging Company, located on Elm St. in Biddeford. After working with the former owner, Linnie Davis, for over 15 years, Shawn felt that if was a perfect fit for Ray’s and also a good way to expand into Biddeford. Shawn & Linnie continue to work together.
